Before you book
Common
questions
A few things clients usually want to know before reaching out.
GOOD TO KNOW
What is a ‘guide’ on my healing journey?
If traditional therapy techniques haven’t felt like the right fit for you, this work will be different. I provide direction and not just a listening ear. I help you identify what is keeping you stuck, and I help lead you through the work rather than leaving you to figure it out on your own.
How often should I come for sessions?
Weekly sessions recommended for the first 6 months.
Do you offer faith based services?
For clients who want it, our work can include faith-based support centered on God’s role in your healing.
What is there to expect in the first session?
At your own pace, exploring your story in a way that’s most comfortable for you. Once you decide to begin, I’ll send you the registration paperwork to complete before your first session. This paperwork includes information about confidentiality, billing, and treatment.
How long is a session?
Sessions are 50–60 minutes long.
What if I don’t live in Tennessee?
I also work with clients in a coaching capacity. Reach out and we can talk about what fits.

Paying privately

Good faith estimate
No Surprises Act
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, I will provide a Good Faith Estimate upon your first session so you know your expected therapy costs for the year.
Using insurance
In network with Optum · Cigna · Blue Cross Blue Shield · Aetna · Humana
No insurance involved, no claims filed. Applies to both therapy and coaching.
Cancellation policy
24 Hours Notice
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without a charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are subject to the full session fee. There is no fee for cancelling a free consultation.

I rely less on traditional therapy techniques and more on guiding clients toward a deeper exploration of their own lives.
